Ahead of the school holidays, free vehicle health checks will be held in Alice Springs on Saturday 24 June 2017.

In partnership with the Automobile Association of the Northern Territory (AANT) and Kidsafe NT, the Department of Infrastructure, Planning and Logistics’ (DIPL) Road Safety team will hold free vehicle health and child car restraint checks at Bunnings Alice Springs from 10am to 2pm.

Part of the annual Check. Plan. Go. campaign, the free safety checks promote safe travel and provides motorists with information on their vehicles’ roadworthiness for the busy travel and holiday period.

The event will also provide Alice Springs locals with the opportunity for free child car restraint checks by Kidsafe NT.
