BUS ROUTE CHANGED TO ASSIST SCHOOL STUDENTS

Department of Infrastructure, Planning and Logistics

Teachers, students, parents and carers are advised that school bus route 240 (am) will be combined with route 235 (am).

A new redesigned route 235 will be introduced on Tuesday 2 May 2017.

This change is being implemented in order to assist those students residing in Farrar, Johnston and Zuccoli who attend Bakewell Primary School, Rosebery Middle School and Palmerston Senior College.

The redesigned route was developed in consultation with schools, parents and the bus contractor in order to respond to the numbers of students in the new Palmerston suburbs of Johnston and Zuccoli.

Route 235 (am) will now depart from Palmerston Interchange at 7:25am arriving Rosebery Middle School at 7:50am, Bakewell Primary School at 8:00am and Palmerston Senior College  at 8:10am.

Route 235 (pm) will now depart from Rosebery Middle School at 2:30pm, Bakewell Primary School at 2:40pm and arrive at Palmerston Interchange at 3:00pm.

Route 240 (pm) service will still operate as usual in the afternoon.

The map attached indicates the new route of travel. Students have been made aware of these changes.
