The Darwin Waterfront’s egg-xcellent Easter Celebrations will take place on Saturday 15 April 2017 from 9am to 1pm.

The fun-filled eggs-travaganza will be jam-packed with an egg-citing line up of free activities for the kids including face-painting, a kids DJ, balloon twisting, circus workshop, two jumping castles, two large waterslides and Easter arts and craft.

Back by popular demand, Mr and Mrs Easter Bunny are bringing their Bunny Burrow to the Darwin Waterfront where they will be available to meet kids for a professional photo. All photos will be shared on Darwin Waterfront’s Facebook page after the event. All children who enter the Bunny Burrow will leave with a chocolate egg and balloon.

There are plenty of giveaways and prizes to be won on the day.

Participate in the Darwin Waterfront’s Easter Egg Hunt for the chance to win Nautilus Aviation helicopter scenic flight, a necklace and earrings set from The Pearl Galleria, vouchers from Trampoline Gelato, Thirsty Zac and a family Wave Lagoon pass.

Children (up to 14 years) can enter the colouring-in competition for a change to win an overnight accommodation voucher at the Vibe Hotel Darwin Waterfront. Other prizes include vouchers for Wharf One Food & Wine, Trampoline, Thirsty Zac, a Family Wave Lagoon Pass as well as a colouring-in book from Shine Gifts.

A variety of food will be available from local cafes and restaurants around the precinct, and a sausage sizzle fundraiser will also be operating during the event.

The Wave Lagoon will be open early (at 9am) on Easter Saturday and is open every other day from 10am to 6pm over the Easter long weekend (including Good Friday).
