DUNDEE BEACH BOAT RAMPS – EASTER 2017

Department of Infrastructure, Planning and Logistics

The Northern Territory Government has delivered a new $4.5 million boat ramp at Dundee Beach to improve facilities for anglers.

Recognising the large demand that will be placed on the new ramp during the Easter long weekend, the Department of Infrastructure, Planning and Logistics will have traffic management in place on site between Thursday 13 April 2017 and Monday 17 April 2017.

During this busy time, the new boat ramp will be for the sole use of recreation anglers. The old boat ramp will be reopened for the exclusive use of commercial boat launching.

Motorists are urged to follow the direction of traffic controllers to help ensure the smooth flow of vehicles to the boat ramps and car park. Delays may be experienced and we appreciate your patience during this busy period.

The department has also liaised with Dundee residents about the grassed public reserve adjacent to the Lodge of Dundee, with the space to be used for local markets during the Easter weekend.
