Late yesterday afternoon – Wednesday 18 January 2017 - two Departmental staff based in the Alice Springs office were involved in a two vehicle crash on Larapinta Drive.

It is with great sadness the Department advises that one of our staff members has passed away, and the other is in a serious but stable condition. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families, friends and work colleagues of those involved.

The Department has arranged for support to staff who knew those involved in the accident.

There will be no further comment at this stage.
