Recognising Women in Construction

Department of Infrastructure, Planning and Logistics

Around 90 people attended the 2016 Crystal Vision Awards on Friday night. The NAWIC Crystal Vision Awards are held annually to showcase the achievements and industry advancements of women in the building sector, with the Department of Infrastructure, Planning and Logistics a proud Event Partner.

 

Awards were presented across six categories with 18 high calibre nominations received.

 

Details of the finalists and winners in each category are listed below -

 

Charles Darwin University Crystal Award for the Advancing the Interests of Women in the Construction Industry

Hutchinson Builders Award for Project Development and Contribution to Management

Winner: Lisa Boal (Territoria Civil)

Sitzler Award for Diversity

Winner: Darwin Sparkettes

 

Territory Timber & Hardware Award for Achievement in Health & Safety and/or Environment

Cairns Industries Award to a Young Achiever/New Starter
