All set for Million Dollar Fish

Fishing fever has hit the Northern Territory with Tourism NT’s popular Million Dollar Fish competition set to begin on Saturday 1 October.

Season 2 of the competition has seen the number of prize-tagged barra increased to 101 and the total cash prize pool up for grabs to $2 million.

Local media are invited to join the Minister for Tourism and Culture Lauren Moss and Minister for Primary Industry and Resources Ken Vowles as they release the final barra of the competition into NT waters.

When: 8:30am Thursday 29 September

Where: Channel Island Boat Ramp which is adjacent to the Darwin Aquaculture Centre. Follow the signs to the Darwin Aquaculture Centre, which is a 45 minute drive from Darwin City (map attached).
