A reminder that local media are invited to preview the new Bombing of Darwin Harbour and Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) Experience at Stokes Hill Wharf tomorrow.
The Royal Flying Doctor Service has invested more than $4 million into the new
attraction, which features a virtual reality experience of the Bombing of
Darwin Harbour, life-sized holograms, a replica Japanese war plane, a
decommissioned RFDS aircraft and other high-tech elements that are sure to
"wow" locals and tourists.
When: Tuesday 26 July, please arrive at 7:45am for an 8am start
Where: Stokes Hill Wharf, Darwin
Who: Interviews will be available with the American family of Rear
Admiral Etheridge Grant, who features in one of the attraction's holograms. The
family have travelled to Darwin to help launch the new attraction.
What: Local media are invited to tour the facility and be among the
first to experience the completed virtual reality experience of the Bombing of
Darwin Harbour
