A four week school holiday program commenced
this week and will run until Friday 22 July 2016.
There are free activities each weekday from
10am, with a new, exciting and interactive line-up on offer. All activities are
designed to cater for school aged children from 5 to 12 years old.
The program of activities includes:
- King Pin bowling, games and face painting: every Monday
- Sand card art and craft: every Tuesday
- Archery attack: every Wednesday
- Burning circus workshops: every Thursday
- Bubble sports: every Friday
All activities are free and no bookings required.
The Wave Lagoon is open every day from 10am
to 6pm. $18 gets a family of two adults and three kids all day entry, single
entry is $5 for children and seniors, or $7 for adults.
Enjoy an afternoon at the Recreation Lagoon, which is fully patrolled by lifeguards from 9am to 6pm daily. Either relax under a shady tree, or get active on Big Buoy’s floating water park. The floating water park is open every day (except Mondays) and operates every hour from 10am to 6pm. Sessions are $15 each. Patrons
are reminded to be sun-smart and bring sunscreen, a hat and plenty of drinking
water.
Getting to the Waterfront:
Public Bus – Catch the number 14(c) bus from the Darwin Interchange or take the short walk from Smith Street across the Sky Bridge.
Parking – Paid street parking applies on weekdays between 8am and 5pm. Free street parking applies on weekends. Paid parking applies 7 days for the multi-level car park. Park 2 hours FREE at the Kitchener Drive multi-level car park or $2 for 3hrs & $4 for 4hrs.
