Territorians now have another source of online information for current construction projects.

Department of Infrastructure Chief Executive, David McHugh, said the new Facebook page – Infrastructure NT - will enable both industry and the general public to receive updates on various projects around the Northern Territory.

“Social media is an important information tool and allows even greater engagement with the community,” he said.

“Not only can we post written information about construction projects, we can also share photos of the developments and the hard-working Territorians bringing the jobs to fruition.”

In 2016/17, the Northern Territory has a $1.7 billion infrastructure budget.

The Infrastructure NT Facebook page is monitored by the Department of Infrastructure with feedback from the public welcomed.
