Sundays Live at the Lagoon returns to the Darwin Waterfront this Sunday
(1 May) for the Dry Season.
Each Sunday (from May to October 2016), local artists will perform live music by the Recreation Lagoon from 12noon to 4pm.
Sundays Live at the Lagoon will showcase a variety of artists providing a mix of genres suitable for all ages and music tastes throughout the Dry Season.
First to perform on Sunday 1 May is Jaxon De Santis.
Born and raised in the NT, Jaxon started playing guitar around the age of 16 and is currently the lead guitarist in the band At the Dakota.
Jaxon has recently become a solo performer, playing at the Garma Festival in 2015 as well as in many local venues including Humpty Doo Tavern, Dundee Lodge, Beachfront Hotel, to name a few.
“My strongest influences in my solo career are acts such as Jack Johnson, Leah Flanagan, Missy Higgins, City and Colour, Josh Pyke and many more,” Jaxon De Santis said.
“I try my best to bring whatever is required to a show, whether it needs a nice upbeat atmosphere to dance or whether it be a nice and relaxed session and anything in between!”
