Big Buoy Water Park opens in time for Easter

Darwin Waterfront Corporation

Big Buoy Water Park, managed by entertainment specialist D-Town Events, will open at the Darwin Waterfront at 10am on Thursday 24 March 2016.

“The water park will be located in the Recreation Lagoon and operate 6 days per week and cater for up to 60 patrons at a time,” Managing Director of D-Town events, Jarrod Berrington said.

“Big Buoy Water Park spans approximately 35 metres by 30 metres and includes inflatable slides, giant climbing platforms, runways, jumping pillows and modular structures.”

“Anyone over the age of 6 years can have a go, although those under 10 years will need to be accompanied by an adult.”

“The modular equipment is adjustable, can be changed to accommodate different spaces and allows us to add and subtract pieces.”

“Big Buoy Water Park will be a hit with children, school groups, corporate team-building, birthday parties and families,” Mr Berrington said.

“This unique inflatable amusement park is the only one of its kind in Darwin and is set to become a regular feature on the Northern Territory entertainment calendar,” he said.

“With prices starting from just $10 for a 50-minute experience, Big Buoy Water Park will attract not only children and families but also adults seeking the adrenalin hit that only a water park can deliver.”

Sessions will start on the hour and will last for 50 minutes. All patrons must undergo a safety briefing prior to accessing the water park.
