An open security rated prisoner remains at large after absconding from the low security worker’s cottages overnight at the Darwin Correctional Centre at Holtze.

Jeffrey Ahwon, 19, failed to attend this morning’s muster parade and was confirmed missing at approximately 8.30am

Prisoner Ahwon’s last location is believed to have been a house on Bonson Terrace, Moulden.

Ahwon is described as Aboriginal, 175 centimetres, of medium build with brown eyes and dark hair.

He is not considered to be a threat to the public.
