Please be advised the Araluen Cultural Precinct is closed today as the fire has damaged the electrical services.

A small electrical fire was extinguished in the plant room at the Centre last night. The fire was contained in the plant room with the automatic sprinkler system responding.

Northern Territory Fire Service attended and extinguished the fire. There has been no damage to the collections or buildings from the fire.

The Precinct will be closed today and is expected to reopen tomorrow.
