BUSHFIRES NT MESSAGE: PLANNED BURN ADVICE

LOCATION: Stuart Highway North, ALICE SPRINGS

ALERT LEVEL: Planned Burn Advice - Firefighters are managing the burn but visibility may be affected.

FIRE TYPE: Planned burn.

INFORMATION CURRENT AS AT: 23/08/2024 11:19:00

STATUS: PLANNED BURN - A planned burn is currently underway.

RISKS FACED BY PEOPLE IN THE AREA: Smoke from this fire may affect visibility, Active fire may occur close to the roadside, Firefighting crews may be working close to the roadside.

ADVICE TO THE PUBLIC: Bushfires NT volunteer brigades will be conducting road verge burning in accordance with mitigation programs.
