Big Blue Sky: A Memoir by Peter Garrett is launching nationally this month. He will be conducting an Author Talk at the Northern Territory Library on Sunday, 1 November.
The Northern Territory Library holds an extensive range of events showcasing Northern Territory history and culture, as well as book launches and author talks. It is great to have such a high profile Australian at the Library,” said Northern Territory Library (NTL) Director, Patrick Gregory.
“A founding member of Midnight Oil, president of the Australian Conservation Foundation, Member of Parliament and Minister, Peter Garrett is a long-time advocate and campaigner on a range of local and global issues,” said Mr Gregory.
“In his new memoir Peter writes about his lifelong mission to protect the environment and his connection with Aboriginal people, about his love for his family and his passion for our country.”
Peter will be at the Northern Territory Library, Parliament House on Sunday 1 November at 3.00pm. NTL has started taking bookings and urge people to lock in their spot.
