LOCATION: Poett Road, RUM JUNGLE.

ALERT LEVEL: Advice - There is a fire in the area. Monitor the situation for changes.

FIRE TYPE: Bushfire. INFORMATION CURRENT AS AT: 05/07/2022 09:14 hours

STATUS: UNDER CONTROL - The fire is at a stage where fire fighting resources are only required for patrol purposes and major re-ignition is unlikely.

RISKS FACED BY PEOPLE IN THE AREA: Smoke from this fire may affect visibility, Active fire may occur close to the roadside.

WHAT TO DO: Conditions may change, monitor conditions in your area.

ADVICE TO THE PUBLIC: The fire is now controlled, fire fighting crews are consolidating containment lines and mopping up. The fire is still producing smoke in the area.

IT IS EXPECTED THIS SITUATION MAY CONTINUE UNTIL: 05/07/2022 16:00 hours
