A four week program of free school holiday activities has kicked off today.

The activities will run from 10am each weekday (Monday to Friday), until 17 July 2015. No bookings required. The exciting program includes:

• Inflatable pony races: every Monday, 10am to 12noon.
• Hyper the Clown workshops: every Tuesday, 10am to 12noon.
• Kids yoga: every Wednesday, 10am to 12noon.
• Karate workshops: every Thursday, 10am to 12noon.
• Waterslides: every Friday (except 10 July), 10am to 12noon.
• Tennis workshop: Friday 10 July, 10am to 1pm.

Enjoy the Walt Disney Animation – Frozen (PG) under the stars this Saturday 27 June. It’s a free event! Pack a blanket and some nibbles and experience the magic of an outdoor cinema. Movie-goers are encouraged to arrive at 6.30pm for a 7pm start.

The Wave Lagoon is open everyday from 10am to 6pm. $18 gets a family of two adults and three kids all day entry, single entry is $5 for children and seniors, or $7 for adults. 

Kids can learn to surf by enrolling in Surf Life Saving NT’s five day program in the Wave Lagoon. Programs run from Monday to Friday 8.15am to 10.15am commencing on Mondays 29 June and 6 July. Cost is $229 per week. Visit www.lifesavingnt.com.au for more info. Places are limited.

Enjoy an afternoon at the Recreation Lagoon, which is fully patrolled by lifeguards from 9am to 6pm daily. Either relax under a shady tree, or get active in the parklands and kick a football or throw a frisbee with the kids.

Challenge the kids on Raw Spirit’s floating water park which includes a high jump, rock wall, long jump, balance beams, slides, trampoline and more. Online bookings are essential, visit www.rawspiritwaterpark.com .

Patrons are reminded to be sun-smart and bring sunscreen, a hat and plenty of drinking water.

Parking – Paid street parking applies on weekdays between 8am and 5pm. Free street parking applies on weekends. Paid parking applies 7 days for the multi-level car park. Park 2 hours FREE at the Kitchener Drive multi-level car park or $2 for 3hrs & $4 for 4hrs.
