360 ALLSTARS return to Araluen Arts Centre

The 360 ALLSTARS will bring their extraordinary urban circus production back to Alice Springs this month.

Fusing amazing physical skills with the extraordinary artistry that emerges from urban culture, 360 ALLSTARS is a revolutionary production that is set to impress the whole family.

Director of the Araluen Arts Centre, Mr Tim Rollason, is excited to see the 360 ALLSTARS return to the Araluen Arts Centre for the second time, after a sold out performance in 2013.

“360 ALLSTARS is a phenomenal physical performance exploring all forms of rotation,” Mr Rollason said.

“Boasting a stellar international cast including world champion athletes, world class dancers and world renowned musicians, the production connects the street with the elite to deliver a radical urban circus!”

“Featuring artists from UK, Europe, North America, Australia & NZ, the performance is a spectacular, colourful and audibly exciting expression of a generation that has reinvented public performance.”

A performance like no other, 360 ALLSTARS reinvents the traditional circus by presenting contemporary performance styles instead of conventional circus art forms.

“Replace acrobats with break dancers, substitute a basketball freestyler in place of a juggler, swap the unicyclist for a BMX flatlander, and let a Roue Cyr artist put new meaning to the term “ring master” and you get an exhilarating circus performance like nothing you have seen before,” Mr Rollason said.

The cast comprises of two-time world champion BMX flatlander Peter Sore, world champion breakdancers B-Boy Kareem and B-Boy Leerok, world renowned basketball freestyler Basketball Man, internationally acclaimed Roue Cyr artist Rhys Miller, Triple J chart topping artist Sam Perry and multi-award winning musician Gene Peterson.

360 ALLSTARS will be on stage at the Araluen Arts Centre on Tuesday the 16th of June from 7:30pm. Tickets are available at the Araluen Box Office. Ticket prices are $39.00 for adults, $35.00 for concession and $32.00 for Friends of the Araluen Arts Centre, and are available from the Araluen Box Office on (08) 8951 1122.
