The Northern Territory Government’s contracted banking provider, National Australia Bank, is currently experiencing a nation-wide interruption to its IT systems that process electronic payments via credit cards and BPay.
As a result, NT Government is currently experiencing difficulty receiving payments electronically by credit card including via the internet, telephone and BPay. This includes power and water accounts, MVR transactions, Fines Recovery etc. NAB advise that customers will experience severe timeouts that will prevent them from completing transactions.

At this point NAB is unable to confirm the expected timeframe to rectify the problem. NT Government online payment channels are being temporarily shut down to minimise the impact to Territorians.
