Nominations for the Northern Territory Government's Training Awards are closing soon. Final year apprentices, trainees and vocational students completing their certificates or diploma level qualifications, as well as trainers, training providers, employers and small businesses are encouraged to submit their nominations before it’s too late.

The NT Training Awards recognise excellence and the outstanding achievements of Territorians involved in vocational education and training (VET) across 11 categories.

Hosted by the Department of Business, the awards are the most prestigious event on the Northern Territory's VET calendar and this year marks the 60th anniversary of the awards.

The awards are a great opportunity to celebrate your achievements.

Winners will take a share in cash prizes and most go on to represent the NT at the Australian Training Awards in Hobart later this year.

Nominations will close 5pm on Friday 17 April 2015.

The Northern Territory award winners will be recognised and rewarded at a gala ball in Darwin on 29 August 2015.
