BUSHFIRES NT MESSAGE: FIRE BAN ADVICE – 16 SEPTEMBER 2024

The Chief Fire Control Officer, Bushfires NT and A/Chief Fire Officer, Northern Territory Fire and Rescue Service have declared a 24-HOUR FIRE BAN PERIOD for Monday 16 September 2024 for the following areas:

The SIMPSON EAST FIRE WEATHER FORECAST AREA.

The Fire Ban is declared for a 24-hour period commencing at 0000 hours on Monday 16 September 2024.

No person shall light a fire or cause a fire to be lit in the open in the portion of the Northern Territory within the fire ban areas.

The Fire Ban is valid from midnight to midnight.

Issued at 1600 hours CST on Sunday 15 September 2024.
