The Northern Territory’s destinations, experiences and products will be promoted to hundreds of East Coast travel agents with a record 35 Territory tourism operators joining Tourism NT at the annual domestic roadshow, NT Muster.
NT Muster 2020 kicks off in Melbourne tomorrow, 10 March, before travelling on to Brisbane and Sydney, with an estimated 600 travel agents, inbound tour operators and wholesalers set to learn more about what the Territory has to offer, enabling them to better sell the NT as a holiday destination to their clients.
The 2020 theme for NT Muster is “Awaken your senses”, highlighting the difference that the Northern Territory delivers and that it isn’t just a place you observe, you feel it through every sense. Attendees will be entertained by The Youth Mill, a group of young cultural performers from the Territory.
Quote from Executive General Manager Marketing Tourism NT, Tony Quarmby:
“NT Muster provides our NT operators with the perfect opportunity to create and develop trade relationships, showcase their tourism offerings and educate travel agents on how they can best market and sell their products, with everything from tours to experiences and accommodation set to be promoted.”
Quotes from Outback Ballooning, Andrea Lehman:
“Outback Ballooning is looking forward to the upcoming NT Muster and the opportunity to connect with domestic travel agents to update them on the unique remote Outback operations of our business.
“By attending NT Muster we’re able to connect with agents who are genuinely interested to know more about Australia’s red centre and the distinctive holiday experiences available to domestic visitors.
“NT Muster brings together key members of the industry across three interstate locations, allowing us to promote our business and the Northern Territory as a destination to leading influencers.
“Our large fleet of balloons carry between 2 to 24 passengers each, providing great booking flexibility and comfort. The reliable desert weather also means we have one of the lowest cancellation rates in the world.”
